Some new additions to the cast - please take note!!
Hello everyone, before I get started I would just like to mention some very important members of the cast who I didn't mention yesterday due to limited time.
Michelle - my best friend, the poor woman who throughout her life has had to share endless cups of tea with me and has heard every detail of my triumphs and failures. A successful business woman in her own right, she is a stand in Makeover Mate to be called upon in times of emergency. Michelle is the only person who completely understands my 'shopaholic' mind. We've had many a Top Shop business meeting in front of the computer. Michelle, we need you at the weekend, put that feather duster down girl!
Emily - one of my many gorgeous nieces. She chose the business name, was the first to have a party and became the first ever Makeover Mate in the club.Don't worry Emily, you're next party is booked in for August! She can't get enough of the Makeover Mates!!
Gerrard the Kitten - Only 12 weeks old, he is currently playing the role of our model, being seen at all the top class joints wearing our signature piece The Funky, Colourful, Wooden Flower Bead Bracelet (well, mum's lounge has always been a top class joint). Hope you all like the little bag pictured at the top of the post, they seem all the rage this week in our shop, I think I may buy one myself, then I'll have to buy something to go inside it, then I'll have to buy an outfit and a pair of shoes to go with it, may be some jewellery and a coat and then a bigger bag to keep it in so it doesn't get dusty, then a new cupboard to keep the bags in, ooh and we'll have to have an extension on the bedroom to take extra furniture, oh forget that, let's just move house!! ARE YOU WITH ME MICHELLE?
Back to business, the good news today is that I've seen a preview of the website this morning and it looks really cool, I'll let everyone know when it's ready or try this link www.makeovermates.co.uk . Play our groovy flop flop game and listen to our funky dance track.
We've sold items from the shop this morning so I need to package those up and get them to the post office promptly.
Think I may actually try to do some work around the house today - the ironing pile is in danger of being entered in to the Guinness Book of World Records, not as a pile of ironing but as the largest cat bed in the world - GET OUT DIL!! (oh by the way, Dil is our fat, cuddly, black and white cat, he's purrrrfect)
And on a final note - Makeover Mate Gemma is fine in Bulgaria, she's having a great time and describes herself as 'Well Happy' - you can't get much better than that!! Have fun.
