We met Pudsey!
The big news is that we met Pudsey Bear! I was actually very excited meeting him and felt like I was meeting somebody very important and famous. (I've led a very sheltered life). We made £50.00 from the stall which was great and had fun despite the cold weather.
When the time came for our amazing T.V. debut we were so cold and wet that poor Gemma was drinking a cup of tea and shivering so much that the tea was flying out of the cup. We had tried to make sure that we looked glamerous for the T.V. but when our time came the rain was lashing down so hard that we were wet through with soaked hair and make up streaking down our faces!! So much for expecting Hollywood to call - we've had more offers from makers of horror movies!
A big thank you to my son Dan, pictured above with us (he's the one that's not yellow) who came to the stall and helped us to make money for Children in Need. Thanks also to hubby Tom and our friend Roger for helping us set up and take down our tent. Heaven knows what would have happened if we'd been left to our own devices, we'd probably still be there.
A special thank you to Emily who we nabbed to appear on camera with us - you were great Em despite being frozen and soaked - thank you for your help and we hope you enjoyed the rest of the evening and didn't get lost in the mud.
