I Am An Apple Athlete!!
Hello!! Hope all of you lovely Makeover Mates got your newsletter this morning - I suppose if you're reading this then you will have done. Just a quick note tonight as I'm off out shortly to catch up with some of my friends(yes, even us oldies do it too!). I had a very exciting beginning to this morning when I helped Tom (my hubby) carry some stuff out to his car before work. He dropped his apple, we live on a hill, it rolled away, I ran after it like the wind, I was a hero! I saved the apple. Makes up for the accidental killing spree I've been on with small creatures lately!! I had the web address www.makeovermates.co.uk put on the van today so of course, ever eager I am expecting a flood of enquiries! We sold another batch of Flip Flop kits today from the shop www.stores.ebay.co.uk/Makeover-Mates , they are very popular. Nothing else particularly happened to me except to say that as I write my lovely son Dan, who's 12, is building a desk upstairs in his room and I am worried for my safety due to some of the bangs on the ceiling. I think he may just drop on my lap at any moment - Please don't squash me, I'm a hero, I saved an apple today. Keep an eye out for a picture of Gerrard the kitten, mum is still trying to get him to keep still enough for a photo, it'll be here soon. Also, following the saga of the very tired sewing machine, the good news is that it will be fixed by Saturday, so next week we should have some groovy new bags in the shop.I'm off now, hope to hear from some of you soon, love from Dawn x
