It's All Go Here Today!!

Hello! First of all I'd like to welcome Gemma back, it was lovely to see her yesterday and find out that she'd actually have prefered to be at home the whole time! Well, I don't know about you lot but I've been really busy today. I went off for coffee in town with my mum this morning which was very nice, I normally don't let her have a break from sewing - she bought me a lovely fruit scone - thanks mum. On a bad note, her sewing machine has broken - it's finally given up, probably after sewing all the family's cord flares in the '70s (we were so groovy), if you think I'm joking you ought to see the picture of me in a knitted, yes knitted, bridesmaid dress!! That means no new bags in the shop for the next few days and even worse - no new flares for dad!! Mum's spent the afternoon doing a photography session with Gerrard the kitten so that I can post a picture on here to show everyone how cute he looks in the bracelet (above). I'm not sure if she's caught him yet. We've written the Makeover Mates newsletter today and posted it out so all of you girls that have had a party and joined the club will receive your copy tomorrow I should think. We're having the web address put on the van tomorrow by our lovely signwriter Brian (not dad Brian) and mum and I are taking the sewing machine to the shop to get fixed. Keep checking out our shop to see if we've added any bags to the ones that are already there www.stores.ebay.co.uk/Makeover-Mates Is this the exciting life of a business woman in her prime? I should think so! The news on the website www.makeovermates.co.uk is that it should definately be ready by the weekend so we can't wait to see the end result - I'm sure it's brilliant. We've had another party booking today so that's great. Look out for our advert in the Pioneer newspaper next week, we'll be in the feature about what to do in the summer hols. If you're reading this and are interested in a party drop us a line at 01492 573432. Must go now except to say that Dil was sick today again, this time on the barbeque which luckily was covered up. If he must be sick why can't he just be sick somewhere normal?? Also, I had the unfortunate misfortune of stepping on a snail before in bare feet (I was in bare feet not the snail) - Oh I felt so guilty, and gosh did it feel DISGUSTING. On a happy note hopefully he'll meet our partying spider in animal heaven and they can set up their own Makeover Mates club!! Cheerio for now - take care x
