The Very Sad Demise of the Partying Spider
Hello! Well, I don't seem to have very much to report - we're not turning over a million yet-but I want to write the post today to welcome my little sis and fellow Makeover Mate back in to the country, I haven't seen her yet but no doubt she's going to look like a bronzed goddess. I hope kitty Gerrard recognises his mummy when she walks in the door.
Yesterday, I washed the van!! Now, for people who know me, that's quite an announcement. I'm only about as high as the top of the wheels so it's a good job the garage has a long brush. I made a bit of a mistake at the till by asking for a token for a wash and blow dry, I think the cashier thought I had a screw loose but she was very impressed when I drove the van out with a lovely perm! Ha Ha! We had a cute little shredded wheat spider living in the passenger side wing mirror and I felt extremely guilty when I realised that I'd accidently drowned him, well, more than drowned, I actually blasted him away with the jet spray. He's been partying with us for about a month now so maybe he'd had his life's share of Makeover Mates fun (at least he went off to spider heaven all clean and shiny)- move over mate, let another little insect join the party!
Yesterday we had another party booking which is great, it always gives me a boost. I must just mention the Conwy Slate magazine and it's editor Andrew. It's a great little magazine for advertising local businesses and for finding out about local events and Andrew is very helpful www.conwyslate.co.uk Oh and I forgot to mention that our big cuddly black and white cat Dil threw up in my shoes yesterday, LOVELY. I haven't got any parcels to post today, the Royal Mail is going to go under. I've got washing to hang up, the floor to mop and I'm expecting my mate Rebecca to call and pick up some flip flop kits and bags that I've made for her - Yes folks, it really is all go at Makeover Mates HQ, hang on to your hats, it's going to be a bumpy ride!!
