Hi there everyone! Hope you're all ok and enjoying the sunshine. We had a great party yesterday - the girls made bags and by the end of the party there were beads and feathers flying all over the place-it was such good fun. It was so hot even though the party girl's mum had been out in the day and bought two giant electric fans to keep the girls cool. For the first time we had cold water in the footspas and the girls didn't want to get out! I never thought we'd see that day. Gemma's long legs came in very handy on the twister mat, she's a bit of a mover! Thanks to all of the girls who were at the party for being so good despite being really hot and bothered - you were all lovely and it was a pleasure.
We've sold more of our great flip flop kits from the shop today www.stores.ebay.co.uk/Makeover-Mates so I've had the job of putting those together to post off. I love the fact that girls across the country are holding their own Makeover Mates flip flop parties. We are in the process of making some bag making kits to put in the shop so hopefully soon girls across the country will be holding their own Makeover Mates bag making parties. Mum has been busily sewing and has made us some FAB bags so thank you mum. Today I've had a busy time of it sourcing all of the stock we need to make up large batches of our Makeover Mates Make it Yourself! kits to sell in shops, all of the stuff is on order now so our kits should be in local shops before too long. Some news on the website that we're waiting for - our web designer has assured us that he is going as quickly as he can with it. Just before writing this enrty in to our blog I had a very urgent and very important call from one of our Makeover Mates who is holding her second Makeover Mates party in the summer - I think she'd only just realised that she is finishing school tomorrow and needed her invitations so she rang me - like a hero I jumped in to our Makeover Machine and whizzed around to her house to deliver them personally and to avoid any disasters. The weekend is coming up and Gemma and I are doing two Makeover Mates parties on Saturday and squeezed in between that we have one of our nieces birthday parties at the bowling alley. It is also my lovely husband Tom's birthday on Sunday too and no doubt we'll be celebrating that - it's just constant partying for us - what a way to live!!!
